Clock Tower

2017 Open weekends

The Clock Tower is now closed for the winter and will open again on Good Friday, 30th March 2018.

Please note however that the Clock Tower will open for 4 hours, from 2pm until 6pm on Sunday, 26th November for the Christmas lights switch on.

Open days are staffed by this Society and the St Albans Civic Society. It is not a complicated task and volunteers willing to serve once or twice a year are always needed. Please contact the Clock Tower co-ordinator if you can help.

A paper by F G Kitton on the origin and history of the Clock Tower is reproduced in the Transactions of the SAHAAS, 1901–02.
