Life in St Albans during the First World War

From January 2013 twenty or so members of the Society have been researching what life was like for those who stayed behind in St Albans during the First World War. Our goal was to publish a book considering our findings. This was published in September 2016.

As our research has developed we have published short articles here that give an overview of life in the city in those tough days as well as publications and also details of events in which the group is involved.
