Research by members of the Society was published in the Transactions of SAHAAS from the 1840s until the 1960s when Hertfordshire Archaeology was introduced as a journal of record for the archaeology of the county. Bound volumes of the Transactions are kept in the Society's library.

The Society is grateful to the Mercers' Charitable Trust for a grant towards the cost of digitizing all 4000+ pages of the Society's Transactions. Volunteer members of the Society are preparing  searchable facsimile images of the original pages for private use and each volume will be made available here when it is ready.
