Clock Tower

2016 Open weekends
The Clock Tower opened on Good Friday, 25th March, and will be open every weekend until the end of September 2016. A display on the "150th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Clock Tower " is currently on show and will remain in the Clock Tower over summer. Click here to download the list of open days.

10.30am – 5.00pm
Last admission 4.45pm

Open days are staffed by this Society and the St Albans Civic Society. It is not a complicated task and volunteers willing to serve once or twice a year are always needed. Please contact the Clock Tower co-ordinator if you can help.

A paper by F G Kitton on the origin and history of the Clock Tower is reproduced in the Transactions of the SAHAAS, 1901–02.
