In the course of building works at St Saviour's a time-capsule was found that
had been left by earlier builders.
It contained newspapers from July 1914, immediately before the outbreak of the Great War,
that provide an insight into life "...before their world ended".
There is no meeting of the Architecture & Local History Group that evening.
