Celebrate Beech Bottom Dyke's Centenary

Sunday, 2nd June at 3pm

The Friends of Bernards Heath are staging this event. For more information about the Society, click here.

"It is 100 years since the legislation protecting Scheduled Ancient Monuments was enacted.  Come and learn more about our own local ancient monument at Beech Bottom Dyke to celebrate this.  Meet at the King William IV  at 3.00pm for a guided walk and (brief) talk about the dyke in situ.  Please allow an hour and wear footwear to suit the recent weather conditions.

Fortification? Canal? Chariot racing track? Rifle range? Road? Come and make your mind up!"
