This image, from the St Albans Museums image collection, is taken from a newspaper cutting from The Herts Advertiser of 13 Jan, 1912 featuring "The New Cinematograph Theatre, Chequer Street, St Albans." The theatre was built on the site previously occupied by the offices of Adey and White's brewery on Chequer street, now part of The Maltings shopping centre.
