Supporting local archaeological societies

The Arc & Arc is a member of the Council for Independent Archaeology which believes that independent archaeologists have much to contribute by the introduction of fresh ideas and new approaches and supports amateur archaeologists, principally local archaeological societies, through the holding of annual conferences and congresses.

The Arc & Arc receives the CIA's quarterly newsletter (which is kept in our library) and members of the Arc & Arc can participate in CIA events, details of which are on the CIA website.
