Dear members I am interested in finding out if there are maps or records of the proprietors operating shops in St. Albans in the early 1800s (from 1800 to 1840). Family history suggests my ancestor, Joseph Weedon, operated a boot/shoe making shop (perhaps from his home) on Catherine Street in St. Albans. Are you aware of any public records which might support this claim? Peter Weedon
