Guidelines for contributors

We are happy for anyone with an interest in the local history of St Albans to add their research.  Simply press the contribute button on the home page and then add your user name, which you can choose, and a password.  You will be asked for a few more details including your e-mail address in case one of our editors needs to check something about your contribution but these details will remain hidden from any other contributors.

Once this has been completed you are ready to add any material you wish.  Simply follow the instructions on the screen and when you have finished submit it for publication.  One of our editors will be notified that a new entry has been received and will check it for basic errors but it will then be published on the site. 

We hope you enjoy the opportunity to record your own part of the history of St Albans and the surrounding district.
