Travelling to the Library

A map of the Library’s location and its vicinity is shown below. You can find the Society’s Library at:

Sandridge Gate Business Centre
Ronsons Way
off  St Albans Road
St Albans  AL4 9XR

By Car.  In Ronsons Way continue straight past the left turn to the Waste Recycling Depot, then turn left along the front of the Sandridge Gate building.  The Society has a limited number of parking spaces at the front of the building. These are marked on the adjacent wall. If none is available, there may be spaces round the back.

By Bus.      Routes 304/305, and 657 – alight at the first stop in St Albans Road and walk back along the pavement towards the King William taking the 10 steps up right to the entrance gate to Sandridge Gate. [The stop opposite Lancaster Road is a similar distance, but involves crossing the ring road.]

Route S8 – alight at stop on Marshalswick Lane opposite Gurney Court Road and walk round into St Albans Road following the pavement on the left as far as the 10 steps up to the entrance gate to Sandridge Gate.

Routes 657 and S8 are best for coinciding with Library opening times.

Arriving at the Library

The building is right at the end of Ronsons Way, past the Waste Recycling Centre. The entrance is through Door 26 halfway along the building below a protruding blue Sandridge Gate Business Centre sign. SAHAAS Library is in Unit 4 on the first floor. Press the bell-push for someone to come down and let you in. Please allow time for this to happen.

All visitors should sign the book to the left of the door on entering and on leaving the building.
